What is a community for if it’s not to help its members especially during difficult times for them. We are immensely proud of Pinner Care and the contribution it make to making Pinner a family.
Welfare support by trained volunteers
We welcome referrals and offers from potential volunteers. If Pinner Care cannot help you we will try to find an appropriate agency who can.
We offer monthly befriending visits to shul members in their homes. We also offer visits to shul members of all ages who are sick. This may be in hospital or at home.
The visits are by volunteers who are offered ongoing training and support.
Our volunteers organise an annual tea at shul for members.
We have volunteers who deliver a meal to shul members who are sitting shiva.
